Summer 2023: Eurowings Discover focuses on North America, Africa and Mediterranean vacation classics

• From Frankfurt to nine destinations in North America; Orlando and Philadelphia in flight schedule as of this winter
• Ten weekly flights from Frankfurt to Windhoek
• Strong Mediterranean offer - 14 times a week to Mallorca, ten times to Crete

Eurowings Discover, the leisure airline of the Lufthansa Group, again offers a varied route network from Frankfurt to over 40 short-, medium- and long-haul leisure destinations next summer. As before, the airline is focusing on a broad Africa program as well as the Mediterranean region and is further expanding its services to North America.

Thus, Eurowings Discover will offer up to seven weekly connections to the U.S. metropolis of Philadelphia as well as daily flights to Orlando in the 2023 summer flight schedule. Alongside Tampa Bay and Fort Myers, Orlando is the leisure airline's third destination in Florida. With this, Eurowings Discover connects Frankfurt and the "Sunshine State" Florida with up to 15 weekly flights and is the only carrier to offer direct flights from Germany to Tampa Bay and Fort Myers.

The airline is also expanding its service to Canada as well as extending the travel season: from March to October, Eurowings Discover will fly up to five times a week from Frankfurt to Calgary and, from June to the end of September, three times a week to Halifax. With Anchorage, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City, Eurowings Discover will be flying to a total of nine destinations in North America next summer.

With seven destinations, Africa will also remain a core market for Eurowings Discover on long-haul routes in the upcoming year. Thus, the vacation airline is once again increasing its weekly flights from Frankfurt to the Namibian capital Windhoek to ten flights a week next summer. Travellers can also look forward to up to three weekly direct flights from Frankfurt to Kruger National Park and Victoria Falls. Additionally, the airline offers Mauritius as well as four weekly flights to Mombasa, each of which is extended twice a week to Zanzibar or Kilimanjaro.

Besides, the well-known leisure classics Punta Cana and Cancún in the Caribbean and Panama in Central America are also part of the airline’s long-haul program.

From Antalya to Zakynthos - even more leisure classics to choose from

Eurowings Discover is also starting into the summer of 2023 with a wide range of short- and medium-haul flights from Frankfurt. The airline is flying to the ten Greek destinations of Kavala, Corfu, Kos, Rhodes, Santorini, Skiathos, Zakynthos, and Mykonos, as well as Heraklion and Chania on Crete - the island will be served ten times a week. Balearic fans can look forward to flights to Ibiza and Menorca as well as 14 weekly connections to Palma de Mallorca. Eurowings Discover also flies from Frankfurt to Dubrovnik (Croatia), Marrakesh (Morocco), Djerba (Tunisia), Funchal (Portugal), Jerez de la Frontera (Spain), Bari (Italy), Varna (Bulgaria), Antalya and Bodrum in Turkey, as well as to the Canary Islands of Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Lanzarote.

Eurowings Discover will also operate short- and medium-haul services from Munich with three Airbus A320 in summer 2023. The final flight schedule is currently being developed in coordination with the Lufthansa Group.
