Kicking off the winter season: Discover Airlines launches flights to Agadir, Morocco

• Two weekly flights to sunny Agadir from October through May
• Agadir joins Marrakech as Discover Airlines’ second destination in Morocco

Discover Airlines is kicking off the upcoming winter season with a new destination: On Monday, October 26, 2026, the leisure airline operated its inaugural flight from Frankfurt to Agadir (AGA). The fully booked Airbus A320, operating as flight 4Y232, arrived on time at Agadir Airport after a flight of approximately four hours. Passengers and crew received a warm welcome upon arrival.

Discover Airlines offers nonstop service between Frankfurt and the Moroccan coastal city from October 2026 through the end of May 2027. Flights depart Frankfurt in the morning twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. Return flights are scheduled to arrive in Frankfurt at 7:25 p.m.

Located in southern Morocco, Agadir is known for its mild climate and seemingly endless beaches along the Atlantic coast. In addition to beach activities and water sports, the city is an ideal base for excursions to Souss-Massa National Park or the foothills of the nearby Atlas Mountains.

Since 2022, Discover Airlines has offered the only nonstop flights from Frankfurt and Munich to Marrakech. This winter, the Moroccan imperial city will be served up to seven times a week from Frankfurt and up to six times a week from Munich. With the addition of Agadir, the airline’s Morocco schedule expands to up to 15 flights per week.

Sunshine in the south, winter adventures in the north

Beyond Morocco, the leisure airline’s winter schedule also features sunny vacation destinations: Hurghada, Egypt, returns to the network as a popular winter getaway in North Africa. Through the end of April 2027, Discover Airlines offers several flights per week from Frankfurt and Munich, with frequencies tailored to seasonal demand.

Discover Airlines’ 2026/2027 winter schedule includes short- and medium-haul flights to 24 destinations. Alongside classic winter sun getaways, the schedule also features destinations for winter enthusiasts: Kittilä and Ivalo in Finland, Alta in Norway, and Reykjavík in Iceland offer snow-covered landscapes, Nordic culture, and the chance to see the northern lights.
