Santa Seat: Discover Airlines brings Christmas spirit on board
A special seat is coming to Discover Airlines during the Advent season: the Santa Seat. In December, the crew of the leisure airline will randomly assign one Santa Seat in Economy Class on each flight. Anyone who gets the seat with the red headrest cover – along with their companion – will receive a greeting card, a snack, and a drink from Business Class. They will also receive a pair of Discover Airlines Christmas socks to match the season.
The Santa Seat is a Christmas version of the popular Sunny Seat, which has been available on all flights since 2023. It is part of the airline's concept of offering its guests little surprises on board. And there are even more of these in December.
In addition to the Santa Seat, all guests will receive chocolate coins, speculoos cookies will be distributed in Business Class on long-haul flights, and the range of toys for children will be expanded to include the popular plush airplane with a Christmas hat. The entertainment program has also been expanded to include Christmas movies and music.
