From August 14 to 17, Discover Airlines will be turning the Pallina ice cream parlor in the heart of Frankfurt into a very special “ice cream paradise.” Just in time for the last weekend of the summer holidays in Hesse, the Frankfurt-based leisure airline is bringing that perfect vacation feeling right into the city center – just in time for the warm summer weather that is picking up again.

The popular ice cream shop near the banks of the Main River is known for its high-quality, handmade ice cream and creative flavors. This weekend, the ice cream flavors are named after popular destinations from the Discover Airlines flight schedule – including Caribbean delights such as “Punta Cana” (chocolate sorbet with coconut flakes), Greek flavors with “Skiathos” (yogurt-lemon crunch with honey) and Moroccan specialties with “Marrakesh” (white chocolate poppy seed with date syrup). Here, you can enjoy a taste of wanderlust, with scoops available for the standard price of €2.50. In addition, guests have the chance to win flights every day – a special bonus for all ice cream and travel enthusiasts.

Discover Airlines has already created a buzz with campaigns such as branded pizza boxes in Frankfurt pizza restaurants, rickshaws at the Munich Oktoberfest, and a mobile ice cream truck for travel agencies and tour operators—always with the intention of bringing a feeling of vacation as well as travel inspiration into everyday life.
