Marco Goetz becomes the new Chief Commercial Officer of Discover Airlines

On 1 September 2024, Marco Goetz will take over the position as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Discover Airlines. He succeeds Helmut Woelfel, who left the company at the end of August. In his new role, Marco Goetz is responsible for the commercial activities of the airline like revenue and network management, as well as customer experience and servicing.
Marco Goetz has been with Discover Airlines since May 2020 and has been closely involved in the build-up of the airline from the very beginning. Since March 2021, in the role of Chief Revenue Officer, he has been responsible for the airline's overall revenue and the development of global sales interfaces with a particular focus on the tour operator business.
Before joining Discover Airlines, Marco Goetz gained extensive experience in various management positions within the Lufthansa Group, including in network planning, purchasing and revenue management at Lufthansa Airlines and Lufthansa CityLine in Munich.
