Discover Airlines lands in Shannon, Ireland, for the first time

Discover Airlines Flight 4Y1500 took off for the first time from Frankfurt to Shannon Airport (SNN) in Ireland on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 10:05 a.m. After a flight time of approximately two hours, the Airbus A320 landed on time. Passengers and crew were warmly welcomed upon arrival. With this new route, Discover Airlines is expanding its portfolio to include its first destination in Ireland.

Starting in late April, Discover Airlines will offer a weekly direct flight between Frankfurt and Shannon every Saturday during the summer months. With Discover Airlines fully integrated into the global route network of Lufthansa Group Airlines, it will be significantly easier and more convenient for travelers to fly to and from Shannon in the future.
